We just returned from our volunteer trip with the Remote Area Medical (RAM), in the Appalachian mountains in Wise, Virginia. This was the 10th annual RAM health expedition open to an army of people seeking free dental, medical and vision care at the Wise County Fairgrounds. RAM founder, Stan Brock, said that the daily limit of 1600 patients for the entire three day limit was reached by the end of the first day.
